Mother Moon

February 28, 2021 in Blog

Who am I to proclaim the 5th Rally of Hope for the Realization of a Heavenly Unified World?
Peace starts with me.
That’s why I gave up my nursing career in 1975 to follow Father Moon.
Who am I?
I’m just a mother of five children with a conviction and a mother’s heart.
Who am I?
Why should I share my story? What do I have to offer? How can I make a difference?
The last four weeks I’ve been in convalescence after double knee replacement surgery. I came to the rehabilitation clinic hobbling and bent over, struggling to walk a few steps.
The last four weeks have been filled with various treatments and therapies.
Last night I went to bed early and got up in the middle of the night to participate live in the 5th Rally of Hope.

Attendance
Rally of Hope

How can I explain the reason for my tears throughout the more than two hours through which I attended? (It went over three hours, but I have a schedule to keep while still here in the clinic!) Now, just a few hours later as I watch the replay to capture the few minutes I missed at the beginning, and the final two speeches, again, I am moved to tears.
Starting with the commentator of the introductory video, Christa Kamga, daughter of a blond German missionary and a black African, now living in Korea with her family. As she spoke of the ideal of unification of races, I felt the privilege of having once shared a room with this fruit of the ideal of interracial marriage.
In fact, I can’t help but reflect back over my own path of faith.
Why do I have hope?
In 1975 when we read in Divine Principle that the truth shall be just as lightning flashing from east to west, we had no internet.
When I gave up my nursing course, and the position of student nurse representative of 72 nurses at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, some people thought I had gone crazy. As the nursing administrator, Janice Bible offered me a year of leave of absence, I adamantly affirmed that God had called me and I had to follow.

I spent a few hours on Saturday, after my various treatments, attending an on-line seminar with young spiritual women leaders. As I appreciated that there were indeed many spiritual women leaders, I realized with gratitude, that Mother Moon’s message was no longer so off-beat. As the Rally of Hope brings us world leaders congratulating Father and Mother Moon for their vision and accomplishment, I am comforted, confirmed and grateful for the contribution I could make.
So who am I?
It’s time to cast aside the feelings of inadequacy.
I’m inspired as I hear Dr Sarah Gilbert, professor of vaccinology, and think back to my first full-time job in the virology laboratory with the Commonwealth Department of Health in Melbourne.
My thoughts rush on and on.
Right now I want to invite you to join the Rally of Hope. Mother Moon spoke in Korea at what was 1:30am CET. The replay for Europe is at 6pm CET with special insertions for our area. Yet we are one. I come from Australia. Live in Austria. Connect to the universe. Even though it is complicated to find a time to connect to my own family in Australia, our hearts seek the same channels of love and compassion. Where there is a will there is a way.
My will right now is to share this vision of the message of hope of mother Moon. All my on-line seminars this last few weeks confirm we are entering a new age. We can make a difference. We all need to just do it. The time is now.

You are welcome to join the Highlight Event on Sunday February 28th, at 06:00 PM (CET) or watch the 7th Rally here: https://fb.watch/g_1DT8kOYk/
