Ozlilly's musings...

Well now that I am in Europe and my mother and son are in Australia, it’s time to do some reflecting.

So what better way than to dig up some of my old videos which I never had time to process and share them with a comment? Here is a sample of some sharing with my mother from 2011. We do not know how long we will have our parents. There is this song and saying about you never know what you’ve got till it’s gone. I am trying to live my life consciously and aware and appreciating all I have now while I still have it.

I just watched The House of Cards and have to think about Claire Underwood and her difficult relationship with her mother. I always say, that I get on fine with my mother the further away we are from each other. I am grateful that my kids seem to get on with her. I hope we can all come to appreciate what we have before it is all gone.
