We came from Vienna, Kirchberg, Linz, Salzburg, Traun. We came from fifteen different countries of origin: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Scotland, Slovakia and Sudan.
First we greeted each other over coffee and discussed the delayed train. Then we had the address by the association’s president. She pointed out that it was founded in 1992 and asked who was there then? I was.
Then we had a business meeting and accepted the financial report. There were a few reports on activities of the past year, a coffee break and then a musical interlude. This was followed by readings from a local author about everyday attitudes. Many of us could relate so well.
….
It ended with everyone saying, “Thank you” and sharing a little bit about themselves and thier current thoughts.
It was a great meeting. We came, we heard, we shared.
