Ozlilly's musings...

Mosman Gorge

Today we went to Mosman Gorge and walked through the rainforest in the rain!
It was interesting to see the development of the area. The sales room had beautiful aboriginal artwork for sale and lovely clothes with aboriginal designs on them. There was a shuttle bus to the start of the walk in the gorge and there were guided tours, the next one due to start in an hour, so we decided to make our own way. We walked to the Gorge and saw people were swimming in the water. The sign at the beginning of the walk indicated that today was a no swimming day. Later I saw that even our ticket said no swimming, so I was glad that I obeyed, even though it did look inviting. The sun came out occasionally, but then it rained. Josef got out his raincoat and offered it to me. We both got soaking wet and it was a real rain-forest experience.
