Ozlilly's musings...

Ozlilly, tree

Allow me to share with you, a little of what I experienced in 2016. When I think about 2016 so much happened it has taken me a few weeks, just to get an overview for myself. When I review what I have gathered together so far, I see I have left out significant, important people who I shared experiences with. Some, really do not want to be mentioned, some are, and would rather not be, and so many of you were so much a part of my life last year, that I want to share my review with you. Each year I try to write a review, a summary and send a Christmas newsletter out to all my contacts. I do not know the last time I managed to actually do it. Each time, when it is not out by Christmas and then the New Year starts, I get totally involved in all my new activities. Now if you have ever looked at my blog, you may have noticed that I started it a few years ago. I am an optimist and an idealist. I want to share good stories to uplift and inspire others. I believe in the power of love and the importance of forgiveness. I am not afraid to expose my own weaknesses in the hopes of helping others to forgive themselves and to promote dialogue and cooperation. More later under philosophizing.
I have so much to be grateful for. This New Year is so similar to the last. The kids all came home for Christmas and left us all alone for the New Year. Apart from that, I took Josef to Australia, Ambrose came to visit, Nathan went to Australia, Christoph wants to go to Australia, Godwin and Timi are going in the semester break 2017. I am a UN Retiree. My own job has been advertised and I have applied for it. We were honoured as pastors of the Krems community since 1999. Now for details.
