Ozlilly's musings...

After the boys came home from the Hofburg and Andi finished working at Raimitz, we started our barbeque in the garden.

Despite the earlier forecast of showers, the weather was perfect, no rain and not too hot. As the birthday child, I cut the cake we brought back with us from Babi in Australia and a cheese-cake. Josef took photos, but I don’t have them yet so am just using my photos now while I have time before I return to work tomorrow. My favourite birthday gift, the selfie stick got a lot of use by a few of us. We also shared our treasures from Australia, including pineapple and regular TimTams, a two litre cooler bottle with an Australian flag cover and the table cloth was also an Australian flag motive. Christoph actually managed to surprise me with the earrings he bought for me from Maissau earlier in the year, as I really had forgotten all about them. I immediately put them on, a perfect match for the outfit I bought in Queensland. Josef had prepared the garden and the shelter to a wonderful afternoon party site.
We all enjoyed ourselves and of course we are not shy.
I insisted on getting photos of the giant marshmallows which Babi bought for us and Nathan guided us through the process of creating giant S’mores with chocolate and biscuits. Of course I had to try one too.
I could not contain myself when I began to film with the selfie stick, but today, unfortunately I have no sound on the computer so I cannot edit any films or videos to post. Tomorrow it’s back to work and end of holidays!
