Ozlilly's musings...

IMG_1757After our busy schedule of daily treatments, co-patients Berta, Margit, Margarethe and I made a couple of excursions to the neighbouring country-side.

The trip to Mandelstein was a walk through a forest, a climb over some rocks, across a wooden bridge and into a memorial chapel commemorating the expulsion of the Suddetendeutschen from Czechoslovakia. I took these photos thinking of my mother whose history is intricately intertwined with these events. Also the abundance of the blue-berries and wild raspberries was another reason to think of my mother in Australia.
