Ozlilly's musings...

I just did it again, after turning on my computer, retrieving the templates file and making a new file for the month of May for my diary, I then went into Facebook and spent nearly an hour scrolling down looking for something interesting and forgot what I wanted to write about.

I was all inspired about blogging and being honest and dispelling all the fears of being discovered and seen and known and finally facing myself and the world “as I really am”! So now I will get on with the accounting and other things like my PowerPoint of my life in preparation for my upcoming round birthday.

Well, so much for that. Tried to upload to WordPress which wanted to update my data base. Checked with my webmaster who said he’ll do it. But then I could not go any further with my blog. So, this is my diary and my idea to reeeally do a blog is on hold again. Whoever reads what I write anyhow? Why do I feel so compelled to write? Is it because I have a head full of ideas and always have such interesting philosophical discussions?

Take yesterday for example. We were going to go out for dinner with our son for his birthday and go out as a couple on Friday night. Then when our son said he needed to work late, I suggested we meet tonight instead, why postpone something we had already planned when another opportunity presents itself? So we arranged to meet near my office and on the way to the café met a couple of other people we knew, “coincidently” and started talking on the path beside the terrace café that I had suggested we go to. So we all went there and talked and shared and philosophized about saving the world through education and ideal families. It was an interesting time of sharing and afterwards the two of us went inside and had dinner together.
