Getting to that age when people I have worked with are suddenly gone, yet children are still in the house.
Reflecting on our “boring” weekend at home, when I am happy to have some time to myself, to sort my files, photos, videos, papers, laundry and lots of other stuff too numerous to elucidate.
On Wednesday 11th March 2009 the Vienna NGO Committee on Narcotic Drugs hosted a special event at the United Nations in honour of Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. As the President of Mentor Foundation, Queen Silvia underlined the importance of NGO activities in fighting drug abuse.
Have been busy preparing for the Meetings next week and the week after, at the United Nations in Vienna. The Drugs Commission is meeting and the Vienna NGO Committee on Narcotic Drugs has been very busy preparing. The Queen of Sweden has responded to our invitation and will host a reception on Tuesday evening at the Swedish Embassy.
