Ozlilly's musings...

Mother

Mum, you always say you don’t want anything. As a mother of five as well, I could say the same.
You always told me to be grateful. Sometimes I wasn’t, but now I am.
I once was in the Swedish Embassy in Vienna together with Queen Sylvia. We presented her with a plaque of gratitude for her support of the Vienna NGO Committee on Narcotic Drugs. Queen Sylvia was also a sponsor of Mentor, a British based programme. She said: Even a Queen appreciates being thanked.
So Mum, Queen Elizabeth of the Skruzny clan, Thank you. Thank you for everything. For your patience. For your perseverance. For your untiring investment. For taking care of us. For being our Mum.
I hope you have a happy Mother’s Day.
