Fall

November 13, 2018 in Blog

I diligently tried to take some autumn photos on my way to the airport in Vienna. After all it will be springtime when I land in Melbourne.

I got a few trees with autumn leaves and one with no leaves at all. The few shots I managed from the bus window seemed to me to be more of a tribute to the European architecture than to the changing seasons.
I remember my fascination with the old European cities the first time I came to Europe from Australia and thought perhaps these will do to tell my story. I have become so accustomed to seeing these old buildings every day. Now that we have even moved into a three hundred year old house, I could be taking all this for granted. But I can’t. I can’t help but notice and appreciate my surroundings, my family, my colleagues, my friends, my environment.
